alcohol brings out your creative juices. then you sleep. then you wake up with a f**kin' hangover. then you curse alcohol and all it's brutal glory. then you forget what you've done or what you said the night prior. then you say you'll never drink again. the day after you drink some more.

Okay, I belong to this thread.
Bianx pointed out "increased motivation to flirt" as a benefit, and I guess that it can be true, especially if you're not one to be all ballsy about coming on to people. Alcohol does lower inhibitions, but then it can also have a downside. Like when you wake up in the morning with that banging hangover, you come to your senses and realize that you were macking on a bad prospect, or you ended up doing some ridiculous stunt because you lacked better judgement, then yeah it's a downside. When losing inhibitions, people must keep in mind that you may wake up with the memory of it being all blurry, but not everyone in the room/place is as messed up as you hence they will have a better recall of the events than you would.
And on the mojo, well yeah, drunken sex (although loud and randy) is mostly sloppy.
What else?
Well, I've looked into it many times and I've come to learn that I'm not necessarily an alcoholic, I just really enjoy drinking (and getting drunk) and I abuse alcohol just as much. Alcoholism can, however, be in your genes. My father was a reformed alcoholic.
Do you guys know any alcoholics? Anything noteworthy?

i do NOT believe people who say that they have NO recollection of what happened the night they get nutsfaced drunk, dahil kahit gano ka kalasing, meron at meron kang maaalala't in denial ka lang. not unless if you're habitually drinking at kinain na ng alcohol brain cells mo
kinginang mga denial king / queen eh sarap pagtatadyakan
